General
Q: What devices does Timme support?
Timme is available on:
- iPhone (iOS 15+)
- Android phones
- Apple Watch (requires iPhone)
Q: Is Timme free?
Yes! Timme’s core features are completely free. A Pro version with additional features may be available in the future.
Timer & Workouts
Q: How do I create a custom workout?
- Open Timme and tap “Create Workout”
- Choose your workout type (AMRAP, EMOM, Tabata, or Custom)
- Adjust the work time, rest time, sets, and rounds
- Add exercise names if desired
- Tap Save to keep your workout for later
Q: Can I pause a workout?
Yes! Tap the pause button during any workout. Tap play to resume.
Q: How do I skip to the next interval?
Use the skip forward button (») during a workout to jump to the next phase.
Q: Why does my screen stay on during workouts?
Timme keeps your screen awake during active workouts so you can always see the timer. The screen will turn off normally when the workout ends.
Sound & Notifications
Q: How do I enable voice announcements?
Voice announcements are enabled by default. You can adjust sound settings in the app.
Q: The timer doesn’t beep when my phone is on silent. Why?
On iOS, Timme plays audio through the speaker even in silent mode. Make sure your device volume is turned up.
Apple Watch
Q: How do I sync workouts to my Apple Watch?
Workouts sync automatically when both devices are connected. You can also tap the sync button (watch icon) on the home screen to manually sync.
Q: My Apple Watch isn’t receiving workouts. What should I do?
Try these steps:
- Make sure both devices are on the same WiFi network
- Ensure your Apple Watch is paired in the Watch app
- Tap the sync button in Timme
- Restart both devices if needed
Q: Can I start a workout from my Apple Watch?
Yes! Open Timme on your Apple Watch, select a synced workout, and tap to start.
Troubleshooting
Q: The app crashed or froze. What should I do?
- Force close the app and reopen it
- Restart your device
- Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store
- If the problem persists, contact us
Q: My saved workouts disappeared. Can I recover them?
Workouts are stored locally on your device. If you deleted and reinstalled the app, saved workouts cannot be recovered. We recommend keeping important workouts backed up.
